Banana Stuffed Chocolate Dipped Frozen Marshmallows

I am really excited to share this recipe with everyone. It is super simple and fun to do with the kids. I wanted to do something different and thought about stuffed marshmallows. I have never done it before and this recipe is a bit messy but a lot of fun. These marshmallows will also help keep you cool it the summer heat.

What you will need:

1 banana
1 bag big marshmallows
2-3 chocolate bars
You will also need a skewer

Directions:

First, you will want to cut the banana into 4 pieces. Then in half just like it  is in the picture.

Cut them in half again lengthwise then cut those pieces in half.

Next, take the skewer and make a hollow out the middle the best you can. This part gets a little sticky.

Take one of the slices of banana and put it into the marshmallow. The banana might pop up out of the top a little but that's ok, the chocolate will cover it.

This is what the marshmallows will look like after they are stuffed. Now, you pop them into the freezer and wait for about 15 to 30 minutes. While they are in the freezer melt the chocolate. You are going to melt the chocolate in 30 sec. intervals in the microwave until it is smooth. When the marshmallows are frozen dip them in the chocolate and any other topping you would like. Pop them back into the freezer until the chocolate is set and enjoy. Store them in the freezer.

What We did on Father's Day

I know this post is a little late and for that I'm sorry. I have been so busy lately and haven't had the time to post. I thought I would write a little post to show you what we did for Father's Day. It's not going to be very long but I hope you enjoy it. I also have a recipe post that I need to write. I know it's been a while and I am trying to get back on track. Okay, now on to our little Father's Day celebration.

First, the little one and I made a card for her dad an few days befor and we had so much fun. As you can tell she loves glitter and all thing sparkly, so she was super excited to make this card. She also picked the color of the construction paper, she loves the color red. Next, we got a little ceramic mug  that came with some markers at a craft store and she colored on it and gavee it to my husband and he loved it. I didn't take a picture of it but it is mostly scribbles since she can't really draw yet. We also made his favorite cookies, Snickerdoodles! He was very excited to see those, like a kid in a candy store. She had a lot of fun rolling the dough in the cinnamon sugar mixture. They came out a little smashed but it was a lot of fun and Father's Day turned out great.

I have one more thing to tell you all. This month is the one year anniversery for my blog and I'm going to try to change the look and hopefully get everything a little more organized her. Thank you all so much for fallowing my blog and I look forward to sharing some more yummy treats with you.
